RES fitness is a place where women can come and learn the best and safest ways to keep their bodies healthy and happy. As women we go through so many changes within our bodies throughout our life from puberty, creating life, and menopause. It’s hard to navigate how to make us look, and most importantly feel our best. Our goal at RES Fitness is to not use a one size fits all approach and cater to every woman’s individual wants and needs. But, to use science to help you reach your health and fitness goals in a safe and effective way.
My name is Rachel Shaw, owner of RES Fitness. Fun fact: I actually did not start my career in the health and fitness industry. I started as a dancer and instructor. In order to stay strong for dance I turned to going to the gym to maintain my physique and gain more strength. I fell in love with the gym and needed to learn more about it so I could help others feel as good as I did when I finished a workout!
I gained my NASM Personal Trainer Certification in 2020 and have been a personal trainer in gyms since 2021. Along with my personal training certificate I am a Women’s Fitness Specialist
and a Certified Barre Instructor and marathon runner. My goal is to make fitness approachable
and fun for all women around the world!
